Hyatt hotel to open in City of Dreams Manila

In a press statement, Melco Crown Phils (MCP) said it has signed a deal with an affiliate of Hyatt Hotels and Resorts to manage a hotel in its City of Dreams integrated leisure and entertainment facility. The latter is slated for opening later this year. Hyatt City of Dreams will have two towers and 365 rooms.

Our take: This will be the third hotel to open in MCP's facility and will bring the total hotel room count to 946 which is more than the 800 room requirement before the gaming facility can commence operations. Earlier, MCP announced that luxury Crown Towers Hotels and the Nobu Hotel will operate 260 and 321 rooms, respectively, in City of Dreams Manila. The facility is targeting to have 365 gaming tables and 1,680 each of slot machines and electronics games upon opening and will cater to both VIP and mass market.– WealthSec
